— 02 / Approach
Stewardship is not a slogan. It is the daily test against which every decision in this firm is weighed.
Settlor capital is treated as held in trust for those who have not yet arrived. Drawdowns are an exception, not a tool. The default answer to a discretionary distribution is a question — about purpose, about timing, about the next thirty years.
Concentration where the thesis is earned; diversification where it is not. We will not own what we cannot defend in writing to a future trustee. Underwriting is slow on purpose.
Each Series carries its own books, its own auditor trail, and its own counsel. Transparency to beneficiaries is non-negotiable; privacy from the outside world is. The two are not in tension — they are the same idea, addressed to different audiences.
We are not in the business of being interesting. We are in the business of being still here, doing the work, when the next generation arrives.
