— 05 / Leadership

A single point of authority. A senior bench around it.

The firm is led by one principal. A small group of senior partners hold defined functional mandates beneath that authority — each chosen for the depth they bring and the temperament the work demands.

Managing Partner

Liam Finnegan

Acting through Liam Finnegan LLC, New Mexico Management LLC.

Liam Finnegan serves as Managing Partner of Finnegan Capital LLC. He directs the firm's fiduciary work across all engagements and oversees its investment, estate, and family-office mandates.

His career has centered on long-horizon capital — its preservation, its productive deployment, and the architectures required to keep both legible across generations. He believes the most important decisions a fiduciary makes are the ones that cannot be undone, and that the discipline of the firm is to make fewer of them, more carefully.

He maintains a deliberately narrow public profile. Engagements are conducted in private, by reference, and on the firm's account.

— Senior Partners

Functional mandates, individually held.

Investments, trust administration, legal, operations, and the family-office disciplines around them — each function reports to a single senior partner who carries the standard.

Chief Investment Officer

Margaret Ashford

Margaret leads investment policy across all asset classes. She spent two decades in multi-asset portfolio management at a London merchant bank before running the discretionary book of a New York family office. She underwrites in writing, sizes by conviction, and is unmoved by narrative.

Chief Trust Officer

Henrik Voorhees

Henrik oversees trust administration across the firm's engagements and coordinates between trust protectors, distribution committees, and outside counsel. He joined Finnegan Capital after fifteen years at a Sioux Falls trust company specialising in directed and dynasty trusts. His files are the firm's institutional memory.

General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer

Priya Ramaswamy

Priya is responsible for legal strategy, regulatory hygiene, and the documentation discipline that the Series architecture depends on. She trained at a Magic Circle firm in London and led private wealth legal work at a Singapore family office before joining the firm. She has never been comfortable with verbal agreements.

Head of Private Markets

Theodore Westcott

Theo oversees direct investments, fund commitments, and operating partnerships across the trust's private-markets program. He spent the early part of his career in middle-market private equity in Boston and the later part as a board director for the family-controlled holdings of three different trusts. He prefers boards to spreadsheets.

Head of Public Markets

Sofia Marchetti

Sofia runs the public-equity and credit sleeves and oversees the firm's manager relationships. She trained as a securities analyst in Milan and Geneva, then ran a concentrated long-only book at a single-family office in Zürich for nine years. She holds a CFA charter and a long memory for poor risk-adjusted returns.

Head of Real Assets

Jonathan Okonkwo

Jonathan leads real estate, agriculture, infrastructure, and the firm's small holdings of fine art and collectibles. He was a development partner on three continents before turning to long-hold ownership, and now runs the operating-partner relationships that make real-asset stewardship possible across jurisdictions.

Director of Estate & Tax Planning

Eleanor Pemberton

Eleanor coordinates domestic and cross-border tax planning, generation-skipping strategy, and the charitable vehicles maintained alongside the trust. A former partner at a Washington-based estate practice, she is fluent in the friction between statutory drift and a hundred-year instrument.

Head of Family Governance

Augusto Ribeiro

Augusto leads the firm's work on family governance, next-generation education, and the orderly transition of authority across cohorts. Trained as a sociologist before turning to family-business consulting in São Paulo and Lisbon, he convenes the annual family assemblies and keeps the minutes that future trustees will read.

Head of Philanthropy & Mission-Aligned Capital

Naomi Inoue

Naomi runs the foundation, the donor-advised vehicles, and the mission-aligned sleeve held alongside conventional investments. She spent a decade in program strategy at a major international foundation in Tokyo and New York, and brings a measured discipline to grant-making that has nothing to do with sentiment.

Chief Operating Officer

Catherine Holloway

Catherine is responsible for operations, technology, custody architecture, reporting, and the controls that hold the Series structure together. A former operations partner at an institutional asset manager, she runs the firm on the principle that legibility is the most important deliverable a fiduciary produces.

Senior partners are listed alphabetically by surname after the Managing Partner. Photographs and full biographical materials are provided in a private dossier on request.
